For crane certification or inspection, the following documents should be available:

  • Crane maintenance files since the last periodic inspection / certification
  • The most recent crane periodic and frequent inspection documentation
  • The crane manufacturer's operations manual
  • The crane manufacturer's load charts
  • Wire rope certificates from the wire rope manufacturer or wire rope pull test documents that indicate wire rope construction, core type and breaking strength.
